System Composition Diagram

According to different power supply modes of lamp batteries, the composition of centralized control fire emergency lighting and evacuation indication system (hereinafter referred to as centralized control system) is divided into two forms: When lamps are powered by centralized power supply, the system consists of emergency lighting controller, centralized power supply & centralized control fire emergency lamps, emergency lighting centralized power supply and other components, as shown in Figure 1; When lamps adopt built-in battery power supply mode, the system is composed of emergency lighting controller, built-in battery centralized control fire emergency lamps, emergency lighting distribution boxes and other components, as shown in Figure 2.

Overview

The intelligent fire emergency lighting and evacuation indication system adopts intelligent network technology to connect all fire emergency sign lamps and fire emergency lighting lamps inside a building into an intelligent network system. In case of fire, according to the fire location, smoke spreading direction, opening status of safety doors and other information, the system generates evacuation schemes through internal software mathematical calculation, and intelligently guides people in different areas of the building to the optimal escape route, minimizing casualties. It is currently the most advanced emergency escape indication system for public building areas worldwide.

Working Principle

The system is linked with the fire alarm system. Fire detectors collect fire occurrence points and smoke spreading directions as input information for the escape system. After analyzing and processing such data, the system intelligently adjusts the pointing direction of fire emergency sign lamps and turns on emergency lighting lamps to help people inside the building select the best escape route in real time. Under normal conditions, the controller monitors each terminal in real time via the network and reports equipment faults timely to facilitate maintenance. When an emergency occurs, the system automatically calculates the optimal evacuation plan based on fire position data from the fire alarm system and issues instructions to all terminals. Intelligent lighting terminals activate lighting for on-site illumination; intelligent sign terminals indicate safe escape directions correctly to guide occupants to evacuate rapidly and safely, meanwhile activating voice broadcast to guide orderly evacuation. Intelligent terminals monitor key parameters of core components such as light source and communication status in real time and upload data to the controller to guarantee stable operation. The controller software is responsible for equipment data management, automatic distribution of terminal communication addresses, emergency information release, formulation of optimal escape routes according to actual site conditions, regular printing of maintenance reports and other functions.

System Composition

The intelligent fire evacuation indication system includes intelligent terminals (intelligent fire emergency lighting lamps, intelligent fire emergency sign lamps, intelligent underground fire emergency lamps), emergency lighting controller, dedicated emergency power supply for fire emergency lamps, emergency lighting distribution devices and transmission network.

Why Use This Product

With social development, buildings are becoming taller, their internal structures more complex, and population density higher. Defects of Traditional Products

Traditional fire emergency sign lamps have fixed pointing directions. Due to random fire locations, they may mistakenly guide crowds toward fire sources or smoke spreading areas, leading to heavier casualties. Fixed indication may point to safety doors that cannot be opened, and people will only discover the fault after reaching the exit. Conventional lamps lack real-time intelligent daily monitoring, so they may fail in emergencies without timely maintenance and lose lighting and indication functions.

Routine maintenance requires on-site inspection by technicians, which often results in delayed checks and missed inspections due to management loopholes. Traditional fire emergency lamps are not equipped with voice prompt or flashing functions, lacking auxiliary sound-light reinforcement for evacuation guidance in emergencies. They cannot guide people away from dangerous zones during terrorist attacks or similar emergencies for organized evacuation.

Main System Functions

Fire Alarm Linkage

Under normal operating conditions, the system keeps connection with the fire alarm system and stands by to receive linkage signals. Once a fire alarm signal is received, the system automatically switches to intelligent emergency indication mode, adjusts the operating status of all fire emergency sign lamps and lighting lamps in the building, and generates the safest evacuation plan.


Daily Monitoring

In normal state, the intelligent fire evacuation indication system and all field devices (intelligent emergency sign lamps, intelligent emergency lighting lamps) are under real-time monitoring. The host display of the controller can check the operating status of each on-site device and communication status between the controller and every intelligent terminal. Indicator lights on the controller reflect its own running status.


Manual Intervention

When manual control of escape indication is needed, the system can switch to manual intervention mode. Operators can adjust the pointing direction of any single or whole-floor emergency sign lamps, or turn on/off emergency lighting lamps on the controller. This function applies to terrorist attacks, mass evacuation scenarios and fire emergencies.
